Traditional Hieroglyphics don't have the traditional 1 2 3 number system we have. They convert things in intervals of 10. Like 1, 10, 100, 1000, and so on. So to make the number "2", you would just make 2 "1"s. Like the sign for 1, is just a single stroke. To represent two, you would use 2 strokes. When it comes to complex numbers with more than 3 digits, like 123, you would use 1 of the sign that represents 100, 2 of the sign that represents 10, and 3 of the sign that represents one.
