- when you're doing your lineart, stick with strong, confident, smooth lines instead of a bunch of small shaky ones. if you're having trouble getting a long line to be smooth, try zooming in on the canvas - name/merge/folder your layers as you go so you don't have a bunch of layers named Layer 1 2 3 4 5 and having to check them one at a time to see what they are. on that note: check what layer you're on so you don't draw on the wrong layer - don't get hung up on specific programs/brushes/settings, etc. digital art like any other art form is much more about technique and practice than it is about tools - pen stabilization is your best friend - don't use dodge/burn to shade or highlight, pick colors manually and take your lighting/background into consideration - save often (!!!) that's all I can really think of off the top of my head rn
