If a question asks "What is the authors line of reasoning" what does that mean? ex) What is the author’s line of reasoning for their proposal/claim?
To develop an effective argument, writers must develop a logical line of reasoning, which is best defined as the arrangement of claims and evidence that leads to a conclusion. Readers must be able to identify an author's line of reasoning to thoroughly evaluate the effectiveness of an author's argument.
