AB = 2x+20 AD = 3x+23 BC = 3-x CD=4x+30 Quadrilateral ABCD is a parallelogram if one pair of opposite is both equal and parallel. Prove that quadrilateral ABCD is a parallelogram by finding the value of x.

May I have a screenshot please?
same i need a screen shot
ok thx
\(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @Serenity1jacksonsl9 ok thx \(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{End of Quote}}\) You welc
So, first you need to find the value of x. Then you'll need to plug x in to show that the parallel sides are equal
AD=BC AB=DC
We can just use the upper one, so 3x+23 = 3-x Can you solve for x?
Yes I can
What does x equal
-5
it would be -5. you will get the answer by making the opposite sides equal. ab=cd and bc=ad 😁 yw
Thanks
So, now that you got x, you have to plug that into the 4 expressions, to show that there are 2 pairs of equal lengths

Yes
I got 10,10, 8,8
Yes! So write how you got those, and that is your proof.
I plug it in.
