0.45×104 0.45 × 1,000,000 0.45 × 100 i really need the answer to 3 of these halp meh!!!!!!!!!!!

snowflake0531:

Did you mean, for hte first one, 0.45 times 100

mw104969:

yuu could juss use a calculator

fcdud:

btw the 4 is a side number like a little one

snowflake0531:

ohhh, exponents?

snowflake0531:

So, by the way, multiplying a number by, for example, 10, 100, 1000, etc., is just about moving the decimal point

snowflake0531:

For example, the first one, we first have to know, what is 10^4 Do you know what that is?

fcdud:

it\(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @snowflake0531 ohhh, exponents? \(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{End of Quote}}\) so its like 104 so 10000 like 4 zeros so yea

snowflake0531:

Yep

snowflake0531:

So, in 0.45, move the decimal point 4 places to the right

fcdud:

\(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @snowflake0531 Yep \(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{End of Quote}}\) idk how to take a pic of the page do you know how?

fcdud:

\(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @snowflake0531 So, in 0.45, move the decimal point 4 places to the right \(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{End of Quote}}\) YAZZZZ

snowflake0531:

:))) lolll So what's the answer to the first one

fcdud:

\(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @mw104969 yuu could juss use a calculator \(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{End of Quote}}\) you dont get it do you

fcdud:

\(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @snowflake0531 For example, the first one, we first have to know, what is 10^4 Do you know what that is? \(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{End of Quote}}\) no im not really sure but i think 45.0

mw104969:

yeaa i do

fcdud:

\(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @mw104969 yeaa i do \(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{End of Quote}}\) they are exsponents

snowflake0531:

We have 0.45, but we need tomove the decimal point 4 places to the right Moving it twice would mean it is 45, but you still need to move it 2 more, add zeroes 0.45 move 1 -> 4.5 move 2 -> 45 move 3 -> 450 move 4 -> 4500

mw104969:

\(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @fcdud \(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @mw104969 yeaa i do \(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{End of Quote}}\) they are exsponents \(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{End of Quote}}\) i see that

snowflake0531:

I did explain it? Now you got the first question Let's go to the second There are 6 zeroes, which means you move the decimal point 6 places can you do that?
