I'm sorry, I am not able to do this type of math. snowflake, darkknight can.
i'm busy
So triangle XYZ is scaled down from JKL, do you know by how much?
\(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @MrMudd183 So triangle XYZ is scaled down from JKL, do you know by how much? \(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{End of Quote}}\) 7?
Not quite, the vertial axis of JKL is 4 units up, while XYZ is 2, and then line KL is 8 units across. Knowing that lines JL and XZ are a differents of two/half, what do you think the unit difference for lines JL and XZ will be?

It's alright, let's work it out together. We know that lines JL and XZ have a difference of 2/half, so we know one measurement of XYZ

I'm thinking the triangle JKL was scaled down by a half factor *1/2* to create triangle XYZ, if that's the case then line ZY would be half of KL *I'm sorry, I was using the wrong label names the whole time...my fault*

Correct, count over four units to the left or right? Remember the triangle was scaled down by half AND was reflected over the Y-Axis
\(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @MrMudd183 Correct, count over four units to the left or right? Remember the triangle was scaled down by half AND was reflected over the Y-Axis \(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{End of Quote}}\) i got 2 on the y-axis
That's correct, so we can eliminate both A and D Which leaves us with B and C
wait, leave A
ok
So it's (??,2), what do you think the X-axis measurement is?
-6?
Correct, good job!
so its (-6,2) and (6,2)?
The question is saying "select all that apply" so if the triangle wasn't reflected and only translated w/scaling... Yep, try those two

is*
Hmmm, I'd try removing the (6,2) and just stick with (-6,2)
its was A and B
\(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @MrMudd183 Hmmm, I'd try removing the (6,2) and just stick with (-6,2) \(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{End of Quote}}\) i can get a similar question and try again

yes
Thank you
