Why did Roosevelt's compact court plan fail?
Well first off, assuming you’ve done your studying of this topic in provided lessons, do you remember what the compact court plan was? In simple terms?
Its him packing the courts with liberal new dealers.
That’s something. According to my rememberance, he wanted to expand the members of the Supreme Court justices. So there would be some balance to not have one of his actions die down. Do you have any idea or rememberance on why this motive failed, then? It would make logical sense.
Perhaps there are choices to make this a tad easier?
there were none
Ah, essay submission. That’s okay. At least you know some of the information. So, we know Roosevelt made that plan to expand the justices in the Supreme Court so there could be balance in order not to cease the New Deal legislation, as you mentioned. Now, to know why it wasn’t passed. What reaction do you think a plan like this from Roosevelt from people? From the justices? Good or bad ones?

I wouldn’t include Roosevelt, no, I’m basing this off the people’s thoughts alone. I’m picking this up from my own studies of this topic.

After all, the question asks why did Roosevelt’s plan fail. In general, this decision was not passed for the reaction it got. I’m asking the user if they believe it would be a good or bad reaction based on the outcome he had planned.
It seems I missed the word “got” between ‘this’ and ‘from’. My bad.
If my explanation is too difficult to understand, you can by all means attempt to guide them yourself..

At least in an environment like this site, punctuation is less important than the meaning. We try. @Whosyourdaddy Are you still needing help in any way from this question?

Having correct punctuation is still important with or without this site, ya know. And we are also working on this in my history class so that's why I needed clarification in the first place.
no thx
