Alright, this one will take a little more work to solve but do you remember what I've been saying about inscribed angles?

faithkristine:

yes

faithkristine:

sorry im bothering you on a weekend

AZ:

The entire circle adds up to 360 We're going to only look at two angles at a time, okay?

faithkristine:

ok

faithkristine:

?

AZ:

okay so can you find the arcs? Remember that it's going to just be twice the angle and then they should add up to 360 so you should be able to calculate the missing angle

faithkristine:

sorry this gross dude keeps messaging me umm can you help me find the arcs

AZ:

make sure to report him so what is arc QRS if the angle is 80? just multiply by 2

faithkristine:

160

faithkristine:

i just told him the truth about me and he dipped typical

AZ:

okay and the other one is angle x and two times x would be 2x and remember how I said the entire circle adds up to 360? so 2x + 160 = 360 so what is x equal to?

faithkristine:

i got 200 so do i divide it?

AZ:

by 2, yes so that way you get 'x' all by itself

faithkristine:

i got 100

AZ:

So that's the value of x Now you do a similar thing to find the angle 'y' but there's a faster way: all the angles inside a quadrilateral equal to 360 and now that we know what 'x' is, we can just solve for 'y' x + y + 95 + 80 = 360 x was equal to 100 so 100 + y + 95 + 80 = 360 can you solve for y?

faithkristine:

yes give me a sec

faithkristine:

85

AZ:

That's your answer!

faithkristine:

thank you so much AZ

AZ:

you're welcome!
