Write the equation of the graph shown below in factored form. a graph that starts at the top left and continues down through the x axis at one to a minimum around y equals negative zero point six and goes up to cross the x axis two to a maximum around y equals zero point two and and then goes back down to a touch the x axis at three and then goes back up to the top right. f(x) = (x − 3)2(x + 2)(x − 1) f(x) = (x + 3)2(x − 2)(x + 1) f(x) = (x + 3)2(x + 2)(x + 1) f(x) = (x − 3)2(x − 2)(x − 1)

Is D your final answer?

Tranquility:

To find the equation in factored form, you can take a look at the x-intercept. If it crosses the line at x = 1 then you know that one of the factors is going to be (x-1).

That's the answer i thought it was

Tranquility:

It is correct

kekeman:

Wait frrrrrr wow i just figured that out on my own and thankss

Tranquility:

You can also check by graphing it using desmos

Tranquility:

If you use what I told you earlier The three x-intercepts are x = 1, 2, 3 which tells you that the factors are going to be (x-1)(x-2)(x-3) and since at x = 3, it doesn't cross the y-axis and instead goes back up, you know that it has to have an even number exponent like 2 or 4

kekeman:

Ok thank you

Tranquility:

No problem
