What was one factor that caused the British to surrender at Yorktown? British soldiers were suffering from disease and refused to fight. George Washington's soldiers outnumbered the British soldiers two to one. British troops received a false message from the king that the war was over. French and American forces joined together to block the British from getting supplies.
Am i right with D? or is it B?
Yes, your right with D.
alright thank you
Your welcome
@ihelpuuhelpme
do you agree w D?
It might be D but I think it's B The ratio of George Washington's soldiers to British soldiers was 2:1, for every 1 british solier, it was 2 of George Washington's soldiers this is 'verified' on August 27-29, 1776
Although the french and american did join forces, the ratio then became 3:1
ill just go with B
thank you for this information
B just sounds more accurate than D as to the key word is 'out numbered'
Politely disagree Kat, I took this test on Monday and B ended up being wrong.
oh
wowow- this is a test??
no lol
To be honest, i do understand how D is right though The French and Americans did join forces
this is a practice thing
for the test
D was the correct answer, I agree with Kat that the French and Americans joined forces. This question is based on the lesson 2.07 and in that lesson, a paragraph on page 2 quotes " French ships blocked the British from receiving new supplies by sea and also kept them from escaping. " so D is the best choice here.
The answer is in fact D. Yes, Americans outnumbered the British 2:1. But the French-American forces joined together and blocked the British of supply, causing them to not get solders or essentials.
