(6) A life of self–denial was led by the group. How can Joi revise sentence 6 so that it is not written in passive voice? A. A group of Samanas lived life in self–denial. B. Well, first you have understood how it is read. In this case, you should read the sentence before the one you trying to fix which is sentence 5. Answer choice A sounds like it fits almost perfectly Answer choice B does not give all the details it should have so cross that out. Answer choice C is the same is B Answer choice D is not grammatically correct because of the two words "group led" So by just the process of the elimination Answer choice, A is correct.
