Which statement correctly compares the "Analysis" and "Conclusion" sections of a lab report?
Hi, and welcome to QuestionCove! I would say that the "Analysis" section interprets the results of an experiment, while the "Conclusion" section, uses those interpretations to evaluate whether or not the experiment supported the hypothesis. Are any of the answer choices similar to that, at all? If you'd like, you can share the answer choices so we have a better idea of what we're working with Oh, and take my suggestions with a grain of salt; it's been forever since I've written a lab report, and also I'm not a "real scientist" :D
Only the “Conclusion” section describes errors that occurred during the experiment, and only the “Analysis” section suggests further research. Only the “Analysis” section includes specific data comparisons, and only the “Conclusion” section suggests further research. Only the “Analysis” section discusses whether the original hypothesis was supported, and both sections include graphs of data. Only the “Conclusion” section discusses whether the original hypothesis was supported, and both sections suggest further research.
I'll go through the details presented one by one I think both Analysis and Conclusion can describe errors in the experiment Only the Conclusion would suggest further research Analysis does include specific data comparisons Only the Conclusion would address whether the hypothesis was supported I think graphs of data would be in another Data section, or only in Analysis, if that Based on this info, I would say the second statement, "Only the “Analysis” section includes specific data comparisons, and only the “Conclusion” section suggests further research." is the most correct of the answer choices
