the best way to approach this problem is to look for *irrational* numbers and eliminate any answer choices with those as a reminder, an irrational number cannot be written as the quotient of two integers (a/b). non-perfect square roots are irrational pi is also irrational with that in mind, what do you think?

FantasticlyArtsy:

i think maybe c or b

Vocaloid:

pi is irrational, so it can't be B (you're looking for an answer choice with *no* irrational numbers) additionally, 41 is not a perfect square, so sqrt(41) is irrational, eliminating C try to think carefully about what numbers are perfect squares or not. remember that perfect squares have integer square roots (like sqrt(1) = 1, sqrt(4) = 2, etc.)

FantasticlyArtsy:

im thinking D now

FantasticlyArtsy:

yeah! it was D

FantasticlyArtsy:

tysmmm!

Vocaloid:

good, D only has an integer, terminating decimals, and the square root of 100 which is simply 10 so it's rational, making D the only one w/ only rational numbers
