Question 1 (5 points)
(07.07 MC)
What is an environmental criticism of solar panels for electrical power?
a
They create too much noise in areas where present.
b
They are not cost effective in the long-term.
c
They can disrupt flying patterns of birds.
d
They require large areas of land to be cleared.
e
They are not suitable for residential housing.
XxxBunnyxxX:
this seems like its a test
SmokeyBrown:
As XxxBunnyxxX referenced, users should not post on QuestionCove to receive answers for a test or in any situation that would be considered cheating. The website is meant to be primarily a resource for studying and academics, and providing the answers for a controlled assessment like a test would go against that mission.
That being said, here are my thoughts on the question:
I don't think solar panels generate much sound;
I am not sure one way or the other how cost-effective solar panels are;
I do not think that solar panels disrupt the flying patterns of birds (seems like a potential argument against windmills?);
Solar panels can require large areas of land to be cleared, depending on how they are set up;
Solar panels are often installed on residential housing, so they are at least a little bit "suitable" in that context

Im most positive this is a test like look it says 5 points
SmokeyBrown:
It is not uncommon for assignments to have defined point values.
While it is good to be vigilant against cheating, I don't think there is enough information to decide whether there is a risk of that happening in this case. I would like to give users the benefit of the doubt, when possible, so I have no problem commenting on this question :)
I also noticed that L2doll, the poster of the question, has gone offline. This would be unusual behavior for someone desperate to cheat on a timed assessment. Currently, I don't suspect any foul play at work

Hey, I'd just liked to confirm that this is indeed an assignment and not a test I've done this before

Also, I've cheated on tests before It's very easy to find answers online on Brainly so if it was a test they'd most likely search it up
