Okay, so last Friday I had a sub for my Chemistry class--The sub in question was very very talkative, constantly talking and conversating with us students--we had a test to do, as well as other things that were assigned by the teacher, who had a family emergency at the time...I couldn't even focus and get past question number 3 on the test. I barely passed and got a D- on it...I at one point ended up giving up on the class period and spent the rest of class doing whatever. I recorded the classroom through audio too, as I didn't want to get the passive-aggressive response(s) from my teacher (as she acts that way towards me quite a bit and I do not find it comforting or reliable whatsoever). So now I ask the question... Should I show her/email her the audio??

Ferrari:

Uhm

Ferrari:

If the sub is not following school rules, I agree that you should email her what is going on.

It kind of depends. If it's really offensive or directs in a way you would not like then I'm not sure, maybe send the audio recording to the district or the people who employed her like go to the office and talk about it. They might be able to fix the situation.

Alexis1415:

Or send it to the substitute, or both.

Well, the thing is that the substitute was talking *all throughout the class day*...he never stopped--talked about things from colleges to his job of teaching students to prep them for things like the army and whatnot. he never talked or directed us towards our work, he just talked without end. I couldn't hardly get my work done and others were talking and goofing off themselves--three students went together and even tried to "playfully" wrap the brown paper towel stuff around another student's neck because they had a "small neck" so yeah overall there wasn't truly a proper "sub", just a dude who came in and talked for an hour and a half.
