What will you do when I leave you in kind, Though you are treasured like apples and boon to the mind… How to handle the fading of dreams that we share? Favorite chair that’s seems empty and sad, Or a poem that vivified both mom and dad… Think of dawns you awoke and discovered me there! Can death be real or is it too a dream… And does life always stay in the bed of its stream? Might the future still have some new trick up its sleeve? Love seems quite real though it cannot be seen… Even winter plays role on a planet that’s green, I’m expecting when it’s my turn to leave.

The passage appears to be a poem that contemplates the inevitability of death and the uncertainty of the future. The speaker seems to be asking the reader to consider how they will handle the loss of loved ones and the fading of shared dreams. The speaker also reflects on the nature of reality and the role that love plays in our lives, while acknowledging their own mortality and the expectation of eventually leaving this life. Overall, the poem seems to be a reflection on the transience of human existence and the importance of cherishing the moments we have with loved ones.

KyledaGreat:

The line "What will you do when I leave you in kind" is asking the reader what they will do when the speaker (presumably the poet) dies. The phrase "leave you in kind" means to die in a way that is natural or expected, rather than sudden or violent. The next line, "Though you are treasured like apples and boon to the mind," suggests that the speaker is special to the reader and has a positive impact on their life. The following lines contemplate the fading of shared dreams and the sadness that comes with the loss of loved ones. The phrase "Think of dawns you awoke and discovered me there!" is a reminder of the happy moments shared between the speaker and the reader. The poem then goes on to question the nature of life and death, while acknowledging the reality of mortality.
