Midnight97:

Can I get some help

Midnight97:

1. The Founding Fathers made sure that no branch had too much power. Which statement best describes how they limited control of each branch? The only way a decision could be made would be if all three branches agreed with each other. Each branch would have some control over the other branches through a system of checks and balances. The state governments and the national governments would have to agree with each other about new laws. The president would have the final say on any decisions made by the other branches.

Checks and Balances, we still use that today.

Midnight97:

If the President vetoes an act of Congress, it can become a law if: two-thirds of both houses of Congress votes for it. the Supreme Court unamimously votes for it. one-half of both houses of Congress votes for it. two-thirds of the Supreme Court deems it constitutional.

Coyote:

AN Act of Congress comes from The Legislative branch, correct?

Coyote:

Usually if an Act of Congress is declined the Supreme Court will have to pitch in and if both the Supreme Court and the Legislative Branch agree, they can overpower the president.

Coyote:

So I would say that option B is your best bet.
