How to find mole in chemistry?

Thebone113:

The formula for the number of moles formula is expressed as. Given. Number of moles formula is. Number of moles = Mass of substance / Mass of one mole. Number of moles = 95 / 86.94.

LovingChime:

A mole is 6.022 times 10^23

cuz i thoguht it was a molecule TvT

Deadshot:

A mole is a unit of measurement in chemistry, defined as 6.02214076 × 10^23 particles, used to express the amount of a substance ¹. To find the number of moles of a substance, you can use the formula moles = mass / molar mass, where mass is the mass of the substance in grams and molar mass is the mass of one mole of the substance in grams ²

Not to be rude - or in any way expecting or judgy or any slight thing, but this technically did seemed copied - so it'd be smarter in further references to come up with your own answer. So the asker can see it from more than one perspective. and help them gain the answer.

idek man

Abbygracem:

To calculate the number of moles of any substance, you simply divide the said weight of the substance by its molar mass.

\(\large 6.022 *10^{23} \) is called Avogadro's number. It is the number of atoms/molecules that are IN a mole. To find moles divide the given weight of the substance by its molar mass. \[\large mole=\frac{given}{molar~mass} \] Example, say you have 6g of carbon and want to find the moles of it. The molecular weight of carbon is 12.0 g/mol, so: \[\large \frac{6g}{12g/mol} = \frac{1}{2/mol} = 0.5~ mol ~C \]
