If I'm being honest, Makayla I'd say just watch a lot of professional things, the reason I was able to upgrade my vocabulary was by watching smart people on youtube as well as being in honors English, honestly I'd just focus on trying to find a certain subject you want to expand your vocabulary on, such as emotions, disorders, diseases, medicines, etc. that's how you can do it. that's how I learned it

Read a dictionary, practice words daily, try your best to use different words in your every day speech
