did you get the answer for this question yet?

First step is to find the z-score of the number 74. To do this, we use the formula \[z = (x - \mu)/\sigma\] Where x = 74; \[\mu= 64.3 (Mean)\ ; \sigma = 5.4 (Standard- deviation) \] So z = 1.7962. Now for the second step, if my memory serves me correctly, would be to look in the back of your statistics book for the table that relates the z-score to an area or percentile. Hope this helps; sorry I couldn't respond sooner or with the complete answer to the problem.
