ok so \[y' = y ^{3} -6y^{2} +11y - 6\] factoring the right side you get (y-1)(y-2)(y-3) = 0 so for the solutions it is y =1, y=2 y=3

Thank you but how exactly did you factor it? that's my main issue.

You could try using the rational roots theorem, then using polynomial long division. It's not pretty, but it would work.
