I have another complex analysis question for this week....can anyone help??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\int\limits_{?}^{?}1/z^3 dz\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lokisan helped me last week :-)

OpenStudy (amistre64):

to be sure I am seeing it right; that is the integral of 1/(z cubed) with respect to z right?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

if we change the expression so that it is just a variable and an exponent, itll be easier

OpenStudy (amistre64):

\[1/z^{3} = z^{-3}\]

OpenStudy (amistre64):

\[ \int\limits_{} z^{-3} dx \rightarrow (z^{-3+1})/(-3+1)\]

OpenStudy (amistre64):

or simply:\[[1/(2z^{2})] + C\]

OpenStudy (amistre64):

make that negative :) i lost the negative somewhere :)
