need help solving a radical equation!

\[\sqrt{51+14w}=w+6\]
square both sides: 51 +14 w = w^2 + 12 w + 36 Then bring all the terms to the same side w^2-2w-21 = 0 Then use the quadratic equation
oops, that should be -15 not -21
Which will then factor. No quadratic formula needed :)
you get (w-5)(w+3)=0 So w = 5 and -3
