I need to check this answer please. I have to determine the F as defined by F(x)=x^2+1/3x-1 My problem is to find F(-x): I came up with: F(-x) = 1x^2+1/-3x+1 It just doesn't seem right. Please check and let me know. Thanks.

F(-x) = (-x)^2+(1/3)(-x)-1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

F(-x)=(-1)^2*(x)^2+(-1/3)(x)-1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

F(-x)=1(x)^2-(1/3)(x)-1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

F(-x)=1/3(3x^2 + x-3)

Wow, I was way off. I thought so. thank you for your help
