just plug in 1 for n - you'll see, that there is no limit, cause the function approaches negative infinity (cause you are approaching from the left).

by saying there is no limit do you mean that the limit is zero?

no - i mean, it doesn't exist. I think it's called an "unbounded limit" in english.. i'm not sure, sorry.
