For this problem you need to use trigonometry! The opposite side is 22 and the angle is 51. The relationship you want is: sin(x) = opposite/hypotenuse sin(51) = 22/x 22/sin(51) = x 28 ft = x (well really about 28.3087 ft)
But when I put 21(sin) is like a decimal?
Oh wait.... nvm.
sin(51) is about .77730871 ish

Let h = height of building and L = length of the ladder. L = h Csc[51 Degrees] = 22 Csc[(51/180)*Pi] = 28.3087 or 28 rounded to nearest foot.
