Find the inverse for the matrix, if it exists. |1 1 1| |2 1 1| |2 2 3|

OpenStudy (amistre64):

put it against the identity matrix and try to convert it into the identity matrix.....

OpenStudy (amistre64):

[1 1 1 | 1 0 0] [2 1 1 | 0 1 0] [2 2 3 | 0 0 1]

OpenStudy (amistre64):

the rest of it looks like a mystery lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for real ? OMG it's my midterm :(

OpenStudy (amistre64):

give me a minute to review this ;)

OpenStudy (amistre64):

[1 1 1 ] [a b c] [1 0 0] [2 1 1 ] * [d e f] = [ 0 1 0] if anything else [2 2 3 ] [g h i] [0 0 1]

OpenStudy (amistre64):

let me try this;: [1 0 0] [2 -1 -1] let me try that as the inverse... [-2 0 1]

OpenStudy (amistre64):

......not quite seeing it here..

OpenStudy (amistre64):

the matrix inverter says its: [-1 1 0] [4 -1-1] [-2 0 1]
