if I have f(x)=x^2-2x+5 how would this go into the diff quo (x+h)-(x) over h

\[\frac{f(x+h) - f(x)}{h}\]

So plug in x+h for x in f(x) for the first term in the numerator, and just plug in f(x) for the second term, then simplify.
