Find the range of values of k for which the equation x^2+5x+k=0??? thanks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

k = 0, 6, -6, -14, 4

At least, that's some that I can think of

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how??? :S

Just plug in values. Like, if x = 0, then k would have to equal zero, too. If x = 1, then it would be (1)^2 +5(1) + k = 0. So, then it would be 6 +k =0. Ya get it now? :)
