(1+x)/4 *2/2=2(1+x)/4

(1+x)/4 *2/2=2(1+x)/8 2(1+x) is not the same as 2+x
\[\frac{2+x}{8}=\frac{1+x}{4}\rightarrow \frac{8+4x}{8}=1+x \rightarrow 8+4x=8+8x \] \[4x=8x \rightarrow x=2x\] Which doesn't make sense since this says the variable x is equal to twice its value
