it is the normal of the plane at that point...also u will get a zero when u do a dot product with that vector and any vector lying in that plane

perpendicular.. Orthogonality occurs when two things can vary independently, they are uncorrelated, or they are perpendicular

each dimension in vector space features a distinct information and hence so does the vector. Being orthogonal means, the information present in the vector cannot be found from the plane
