just seperate it. we get x(2x^2-6x+4) -3 (2x^2-6x+4) 2x^3 - 6x^2 + 4x - 6x^2 +18x - 12 2x^3 - 12x^2 + 22x - 12

you should really learn how to factor, because you will encounter so many more harder problems than this one and your factoring skill need to be good, 2x^2-6x+4 factors to (2x-4)(x-1). Then the problem becomes (x-3)(2x-4)(x-1). I suggest foiling out (x-3)(x-1). Then multiply that product by (2x-4).
