how do you find an angle when the only measurements you have are the sides?
You do Sin, Cos, and Tan.
you do either one of them. the formula's are : sinA: opposite- over- hypotenuse cosA: adjacent - over - hypotenuse tanA: adjacent- over- hypotenuse
depends on which side u need to figure out
Jocelyn, you helped me with my problem.. Thanks, :)
you rock jocelyn
u welcome
TanA: opposite-over-hypotenuse. She missed it.
no i'm pretty sure tan A is adjacent-over-hypotenuse. at least that is what my algebra teacher told me. i'm a freshman so everything's fresh in my mind.
It can't be, there can't be two of the same equations. You know? You said two of the adjacent-over-hypotenuse.
I'm pretty sure tan is opposite over adjacent.
It is.. My teacher taught me this: Soh, Cah, Toa. The last two letters is the angles in the problem. Does it make sense?
You wrote at first it was: adjacent-over-hypotneuse
