OpenStudy (anonymous):
\[\frac{a ^{2}}{a+1}\times\frac{a}{a(a-1)}\]
frist equation time second flip
OpenStudy (anonymous):
11) is a^2 a(a-1)
---- divides ------
a+1 a
Treating both as fractions we change dive into multiply and take reciprocal of second
a^2 a
---- x ----
a+1 a(a-1)
a ( a^2)
-----------
a (a+1) (a-1)
cancelling a frm numerator and denominatior
a^2
------------
(a+1) (a-1)
now clear????
OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):
Volume = lengthxbreadthxheight
Here the product of length and width is a^2+7a+12
So if we divide the given vol polynomial by a^2+7a+12 using long division method we get quotient (which is the height) as a+1
