solve 1 + (3sqt 8)
That's not an equation.
well i had the solve the limit and i did it it was more of 1+ 3sqrt x so i replace it with 8 cuz thats the limit
and my equation tool does not work
So what needs doing then?
how do i solve the 3 thats over the sqaure root of 8..its not a divisions...
What do you mean solve? Just put it in a calculator.
it dont work i just dont know how to explain it....it like 3 is inside the square root of 8...on the right upper side
\[\sqrt{8^3}?\]
like that but on the upper left side sorry
\[\sqrt[3]8{}\] here it is
can you help me how to compute this i forgot
Ah, that means the cube root of 8 which is asking what number you need to multiply by itself 3 times to get 8 which is 2.
what you mean can you show me please
\[2\times2\times2=8\Longleftrightarrow \sqrt[3]{8}=2\]
oooooooo i see now well thanks so much
In general\[x^n=y\Longleftrightarrow x=\sqrt[n]{y}\]
That's ok, glad to be helpful.
