find limit lim as beta approaches 0 (sin Beta)/(9beta+tan Beta) Please show me step by steps

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1/10

OpenStudy (anonymous):

use the property that tanx/x and sinx/x is 1 wen x->0.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or you can use L'Hopitals rule since the form is 0/0 and take derivatives of top and bottom, then plug in beta=0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes but i dont really understand if you show me step by step i would

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you know derivatives yet?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sin(b)/(9b+tanb) pull out b from the denominator and so u get, sinb/b/(9+tanb/b)=>applying lim b->0 we get, 1/(9+1)=1/10
