I am trying to understand the relationship between solute concentration and osmotic pressure? Anybody?
As solute concentration increases the oncotic pressure of the solution increases......
solute is how clustered the solute osmosis is a selective diffusion process. osmotic pressure depends on the concentration of the solute so if you have blood separated from water by a permeable membrane, the osmotic pressure would be greater on the side of blood as it is more concentrated
the more solute particles present, the higher the osmotic pressure
The osmotic pressure is measured in terms of concentration. It depends on the molar concentration of the solute. Therefore , the higher the concentration of the solute, the higher the osmotic pressure is required to achieve equilibrium
More solute= more pressure Because the effort to make the solution balenced will be bigger
