The Sun radiates away energy at the rate of 3.9x10^26 watts. At what rate is it losing mass due to this radiation? I am confused as to how to solve this, or what formulae to use exactly. The formulae in this section the question is in are Ek = Δmc^2

well...I'm not exactly sure, but \[E=mc^2\] seems like a good one. You've mentioned a variation but I don't know all of this to be confident enough. The one thing to be especially careful of is units. I would suspect mass is kg and energy is J, in which case the answer is \[m=E/c^2=4.3x10^9kg\] I think. And since energy is in Watts then it's really \[kg/s\] Hope that helps.
