Determine an expression for the waveform(see attachment)
idk what that is
It is a sawtooth waveform quite common in electronic some devices
The e(t) is the voltage amplitude for time (t) The equation is beyond my pay grade. The period is 4. Other than that I can't help. Oh yes the peak is 4 volts.
Thank you radar !!!
Sorry I couldn't do more.
Polpak can you illuminate the situation?
see my question.....
need to brush up on this stuff. This is all I can think of. unit step function is u(t). u(t-4) would be a step function at t=4. A 4-wide pulse would be u(t) - u(t-4). A single sawtooth pulse would be (4 - 2t)(u(t) - u(t-4)). Then you need to simplify and make a sum that creates all the pulses. :-)
Sorry, I went to get some food.. lemme take a look
I believe it's the first one.. At \(t\in [0,4)\) we have e = 4-2t At \(t \in [4,8)\) we have e = 4-2t + 8 = 12-2t At \(t \in [8,12)\) we have e = 4-2t + 16 = 20 - 2t etc. Those look like they fit your curve. We can see that it's not 2 since that function is strictly increasing with t and wouldn't have a negative slope. We can see that it's not 3 because that function is also strictly increasing with t. We can see that it's not 4 because after 2, the function has a negative slope, but it's -1 not -2 which isn't steep enough.
Thank you !!!!
Certainly!
