i was doing an AC Theory question and the circuit was a LCR circuit how teacher didn't cover this with us....its similar to that of an RLC circuit??? The equations for impedence, current and so on would stay the same?? or would there be a slight change of some-sort??

they are the same things, I have only heard of RLC , because that sounds the best when u say it.

All it means is u have some inductance, capacitance and resistance

An LCR circuit is one with an inductance (L), resistance/impedance (R) and capacitance (C). The order the letters are written in is irrelevant (Personally I prefer LCR), the physics remains the same. 

There are many ways of describing the same set of physics problems, recognising the same physics with a different name is a good skill to learn
