I have an orginal function of (x/2)+cosx. I found the crtical point to be pi/6. How do i do the computation inorder to find the y value of this max?

This critical value, which i determined is a max, came from setting the derivative of this orginal equation to zero. But i am trying to find out how to determine the y value of the max

just plug x = pi/6 in original function

can you show me the computation, i am alittle confused on how to do it

ok y =[ pi/6] / 2 + cos pi/6 = pi/12 + cos 30 degrees
