you guys are in physics right? in the chapter of electricity,,,, For mutual intance when more current flows in the secondary there will be more current flows in the primary. This coupling between the primary and secondary is most conveniently described in terms of mutual inductance. The mutual inductance appears in the circuit equations for both the primary and secondary circuits of the transformer. e=L di/dt voltage at secondary V2=L2 di2/dt -M di1/dt when the secondary transformer is opened, the current wil lbe zero thus e1=L1 di1/dt --> di1/dt=e1/L1=sin10t/.8=1.25 sin10t V2=L2 di2/dt -M di1/dt V2= 0 - (0.2)(1.25 sin10t) V2=0.25 sin 10t ans....
