I need help again, im so so so sorry :( 3 You spin a spinner with 6 numbers it can land on. Find the sample space for this experiment.
Sample space is "all possible outcomes". So, once you spin the spinner, what are the possible results?
6, right ?
Yes, assuming that there is an equal chance of landing on any of the 6.
It was wrong :(
Find the sample space for this experiment. 1 2 3 4 5 6 is what im assuming it means
the sample space should be all the possible outcomes ... seperated by a comma p[rolly
Remember, sample space is "all possible outcomes". While it's true that there are 6 possible outcomes, the sample space is as amistre64 points out: { 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6} or whatever 6 numbers are on the spinner.
try to remember that "sample space" is a SET not a NUMBER so unless you are asked "how many elements in the sample space?" your answer needs to be a set. like {A,B,C,D,E} for example
