no thery are not like that,, the numbers suppost to be the exponent,

(x^3)+(x^2)-(x^2)-(y^2)? You have an xy^2 in there and it doesn't seem to fit. Can you please CAREFULLY write out the exact set of variables and numbers?

Hmm, that doesn't make sense - the +x^2 and the -x^2 cancel each other out. Check your damn problem. Pisses people off if you're too damn lazy to write it out correctly.
