\[y = 1 / \sqrt{x + 2}\]
do you want to derivate that?
I'm trying to figure that out, I just want to make sure I set it up right. Hold on I'm posting it right now
−1/(2(x+2)^(3/2))
Opps I meant using the chain rule, here's what I got so far: \[y = (x+ 2) ^{1/2} - 1 (1/2)(x+2)^{-1/2}(1)/(x+2) \]

U don't need the chain rule because the derivative of x + 2 is 1, just do it normally. D -1/2 (x+2) ^ (-3/2) = 3/4 (x+2)^(-5/2)
