given a graph how can u find the lowest degree of a poly

the lowest degree of a poly is always gonna be 0; or do you wanna know what it is for any nonzero coefficient?
.... id still have to go with 0 since the y intercept is the constant; barring of course for a vertical line
would it be at the turning points or where ever the graph hits on the xaxis zero?
not according to the terminology presented in your question
the degree of a poly has nothing to do with where the graph is

the lowest degree of any poly is relates to the constant at the end; also refered to as the y intercept. So i suspect it will always be zero for the lowest degree; for all cases except for a vetical line that never touches the y axis to begin with
