Consider three electric componets, a capacitor with capacitor C, a loop with inductance L and a resistor with a resistance of R = 2kohms a) In a simple serial RC circuit that consists only of the capacitance and the resistance, determine the capacitance C which is required to store an energy of 6.0MJ, if the voltage difference between the two capacitor plates is 4.0kV b) In a simple RL circuit that consists only of the inductance and the resistance, determine the inductance L whic is required to store and energy of 6.0MJ, if the maximum current through the indicator is 4.0kA

For part A, Remember the energy stored in a charged capacitor is given by the equation \[PE = 1/2 Q \Delta V\] Also, our capacitance equation is \[C = Q/ \Delta V\]

for second part i guess w=1/2 *inductance *current^2
