a circle whose center is at the origin passes through the point whose coordinates are (1,1). What is the area of this circle? 1. π 2. 2π 3. √2π 4.2√2π 5. 4π

Well, since it's at 1,1 and the center is origin. We can find radius through pythogorean theorem. Which is Root of 2. We applied the area formula for circles. You get 2pi. Thus 2 is the answer.
