Use laws of exponents to simplify 3 3/10 / 3 1/10

Please help!!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is this \[\frac{3^{\frac{3}{10}}}{3^{\frac{1}{10}}}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The rule states that \[\frac{a^m}{a^n}=a^{m-n}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So assuming what I posted is true you have \[3^{\frac{3}{10}-\frac{1}{10}}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The result is \[3^{\frac{2}{10}}=3^{\frac{1}{5}}=\sqrt[5]{3}\]
