how do i solve X squared = 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

$x^2=3$Just take the square root of both sides:$x=\sqrt{3}$

OpenStudy (anonymous):

$x^2=3$ $x=\pm \sqrt{3}$

OpenStudy (anonymous):

make sure to write $x=\pm\sqrt{3}$

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what jah said

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oooops, yeah, agree

OpenStudy (anonymous):

u solve it by taking the sqrt root of both sides but whenu do so u have to remember that when u square root a variable u have to put the plus or minus sign
